ABOUT US

Who are we?  Well we are Katie & Gavin Fenton, married for 4 years,  in business together for nearly 6 years, living and working in the beautiful Highlands of Scotland.   It would be fair to say that we spend an awful lot of time online and attached to our laptops, but we are human really, promise!    We are based in Grantown on Spey and work from home with our 3 cats who can be a hindrance and a help all at the same time.  We still retain the professionalism but it is nice to able to sit on the sofa and blog to the world rather than being stuck in an office all the time.

So, why are we different?  We have got fed up with stories about how web companies have been unscrupulous in their dealings with people…. it gives all of us a bad name.  Our philosophy is that we will give you options, let you make the decision and then do a professional and competent job for you.  We are friendly, down to earth and passionate about the work we do from bookkeeping to search engine optimisation (SEO).  Katie has the bookkeeping and administration skills and can organise anyone, Gavin has completely immersed himself in the world of SEO, has passed the Google Professional qualification and reads blogs, books, articles and watches training seminars even in his time off – what a life!

Setting up and running our business Aviemore Business Solutions has been a journey thats for sure, but then that is why we are so good at helping small and start up businesses – we have been there ourselves.   If you want the full profile of our company and our customers then take a look at our website www.aviemorebusiness.co.uk for more information.

  1. Would be interested in hearing more about your dealings with Yell.com, re your tweet.
By the way the only thing that spoils your beautiful web site and blog is the invitation to subscribe to a newsleter, rather than newsletter.

Hi Richard thanks for your eagle eyes – should be fixed now! You know when you look at something over and over again you miss these vital things. As far as Yell.com goes, we are trying to take a website away from them for a customer who naively signed up to their services a couple of years ago now. Honestly, we feel like they are crooks. Actually postponing the change over until next week now so that we have time to tweak some content – will let you know though. Katie
