Trip Advisor, the well established travel/accommodation review site is no stranger to controversy with many blog posts and comments from the hotel & leisure industry questioning its policy on ‘the right to reply’ and ‘bonifide posts’.
TA bills itself as providing “Unbiased holiday reviews, photos and travel advice for hotels and vacations”
It came to light in 2009 that Trip Advisor was to begin charging for business listings – this has now come to pass.
As we have over 20 years experience in the hotel & leisure industry we are interested in feedback and comment from any Hotel, Guest House, B&B, Self Catering, Restaurant etc as to what this means to you ….

Here at ABS towers, for once the vote casting was unanimous – we both wanted Yasmina to win, and win she did! We have to be honest and say this is the only series we have watched – how we have managed to miss it in previous years we don’t know, but this journey of Yasmina’s has been a delight to watch. Not sure about basil and strawberry chocolates but Sir Alan obviously thought they were ok! Well done Yasmina, and commiserations to pretty, highly capable but completely robotic Kate. Read all the up to date info here

The Outsider Festival, due to be held in Aviemore later this year, has been cancelled ‘due to the recession’. The event, which combines music, the arts and outdoor activities was first staged in 2007, and the cancellation this year is not only a big disappointment for many festival goers but will have an obvious effect on businesses in the area – soon may it return!
